Who Am I, Exactly?
A little bit about me: First, you should know I'm a bit nuts, but apparently that can make me loveable (it can also render me being a pain in the butt). I had a challenging time being single from around 16-34. I avoided relationships; then got into horrible ones and then BH finally really did meet the love of my life, Daniel Sass (originally of LA). When I say the love of my life though, it's not quite in the traditional sense. He was very little of what I was looking for: not scholastic, not emotional, not exactly romantic (although the jury's still out on that one); not connected and very minimally interested in my "stuff." However, what he lacked there (which I finally realized I didn't actually need from a life-partner) he has certainly made up for in other areas. Calm, solid, relaxed, happy, committed, dedicated, hard-worker, smiley, loving and the best father ever. I seriously believe I owe my happiness to him. Now of course there are challenges and thank G-d I have a bunch of friends who are there in those times, most notably Lynda Stein, who is too amazing for words. Given that I feel like, for the most part, BH I am in a good place, I seem to have taken on (quite inadvertently) a bunch of projects as people going through hard times magnetize to me as I will never forget my own times and I still encounter difficulties. In other words, I relate. So, we have been blessed with the two most amazing boys - Golan Moshe who is like me - nearly 6 and Eitan Aharon who is like Daniel - nearly 3. The dog, Gal, came first, named for Gal Fridman whom Daniel and I "met" on our second date. And now Mikey the tortoise who lives in a beautiful garden outside our house in the middle of our street (yes you know that Daniel took pictures of one of the guy's from Madness' wedding, but that's another story in itself). We live in the Zayit Bnei Beitcha section of Efrat, Israel - miraculously - and due to Daniel's sheer determination - in a wonderful house and truly are blessed. Yom Yom as they say. So that's me, for now.
